CLIKS (Community Level Indicators on Kids) is an online portal, giving users access to more than 75 indicators of child and youth well-being at the county level. CLIKS puts data for all of North Carolina’s 100 counties and 115 school districts at your fingertips. Data include indicators in the following areas: demographics, health, economic security, early childhood, education, child maltreatment and juvenile justice. More specifically,
CLIKS allows users to access state-specific inventories of data from local sources, such as health departments, human services agencies and schools.
CLIKS is hosted by the Annie E. Casey Foundation's website, and Action for Children North Carolina provides all of the data specific to North Carolina.

Getting Started:
1. CLIKS provides 5 different ways of looking at the data. Select one of the five icons to begin.
2. CLIKS will ask the user to select a geographic area.
3. Follow prompts as instructed to view data.
4. Definitions, data sources and notes are displayed at the bottom of each page.
