A strong workforce, solid infrastructure and a society that is successful in recruiting and retaining businesses and corporations all depend on the future of our children.
With the creation of partnerships with the business community, and with critical financial support, the call to action to improve the lives of North Carolina's children will grow. Action for Children is at the forefront of that action, leading important discussions to affect the well-being of children. The next few years of action will be significant as we all work toward the same goal: improving our state’s ability to ensure the success of all of its children. As a member of the business community, you can play a key role in that first step.
Your RoleCertainly, general operating support to conduct research, provide data, promote policy and affect decisions is critical. Partnering with Action for Children in any of our program areas allows us to continue to provide the one-of-a-kind and essential data-based advocacy work to inform policymakers and the public. General support for any of the topic areas below also includes the development of fact sheets and issue briefs, collecting and posting county-level data in an interactive online database and working with the media to secure well-informed, timely coverage of important issues affecting the well-being of children in
North Carolina. Through our publications, groundbreaking reports, regional meetings, media advocacy and coalition work, we are able to provide the critical voice for children.

Return on Investment Action for Children is committed to acknowledging your company's promise to help serve children and youth in the state of North Carolina by ensuring return on your investment and recognition of your support. Specific actions to recognize your investment in support of Action for Children will include:
- Name and logo recognition of your company's co-branding support on Action for Children data products, distributed to 10,000+ policymakers, government leaders, business and civic leaders and other citizens across the state who receive Action for Children’s publications and materials.
- Your company's name and web link will appear as a featured business partner on Action for Children’s website, biannual newsletter, key marketing collateral as it relates to the business community and among materials distributed at conferences across the state—ensuring recognition of your company as a major sponsor committed to supporting and partnering in promoting children’s issues across North Carolina.
