Youth Action

People under age 25 are the ideal spokespeople to raise concerns about the well-being of children and youth in North Carolina.  You know what works in your community and what doesn’t.  You know how children and youth feel.  You know what children and youth are worried about.  The best way to start being a champion for children and youth is to learn by doing.

Now is your chance to speak up and speak out!

Youth Involvement

In preparation for the 2008 election, Action for Children North Carolina worked with Youth Empowered Solutions (YES!) on a voter engagement project. North Carolina youths conducted phone banking and canvassed neighborhoods in Durham. Learn more about the project from the participants themselves in this blog and from their feedback.

"Thank you Action for Children for allowing me to be a part of history."
